Send calls to different places depending on when they arrive — open vs closed, holidays, or any time window you define. These tools live under Numbers & Routing, and they're the scheduling half of intSignal's business-hours and holiday call routing.
Business hours
Attach an open/closed schedule to an inbound number:
- Days — a preset like Mon–Fri, or (in Advanced) individual-day checkboxes
- Open window — start and end time
- Open destination and Closed destination — each can be an extension, ring group, queue, menu, announcement, or voicemail
- Advanced: a lunch break — a mid-day closed window
Holidays
Fixed-date overrides that bypass the weekly schedule for a single day:
- Date, Name, and the Destination for that day (e.g. a holiday greeting announcement)
Manual day/night override
A one-click switch to force a number open or closed without editing the schedule — useful for an unexpected early close or an all-hands.
- Per number: Auto, Force-open, or Force-closed
Precedence: manual override → holiday → weekly schedule.
Time conditions (reusable)
A time condition is a named, reusable time branch you can drop into any destination field — unlike business hours, which attach to a single number.
- Number, name, days, start/end time, optional lunch window
- An in-hours destination and an off-hours destination
Because it's selectable anywhere a destination is picked, you can, for example, send a queue's overflow to a time condition so after-hours callers reach a different voicemail than daytime callers.
Tip
Not sure how a number actually behaves across the day? The call-flow map renders the whole time-based branch so you can see open, closed, and holiday paths at a glance.
