Routing changes are staged — held until you choose to publish them — so a half-built call flow never routes a live caller into a dead-end. This lives under Settings & Compliance.
How staged changes work
Make your edits
Change extensions, menus, ring groups, business hours, and other routing as needed. The edits are saved as pending, not live.
Review pending changes
Open the pending-changes summary — a per-category list of what's been added, removed, or changed — and check it over.
Apply configuration
Click Apply Configuration to publish everything at once. Only then do callers see the new routing.
Change history & revert
- Change history — a day-grouped timeline of applies and reverts, each with a summary and who made it, retained for 6 months
- Revert — roll your whole account's routing back to any earlier point in time
Emergency calling is never staged
Emergency-calling (E911) changes always take effect immediately and are never held for staging — a location update must apply right away for safety.
