You can only text from numbers your account owns, and only after your business is registered (below). This keeps your messages compliant and deliverable.
Business Profile (one-time)
Before texting, fill out your Business Profile once. It's reused for texting registration, emergency-address records, billing, and compliance.
- Legal identity: legal name, DBA name, EIN, entity type, industry/vertical, website
- Registered business address
- Authorized contact: name, title, email, phone
- Messaging compliance: use case, opt-in description, sample messages, estimated volume
Click Save, then Submit for verification — a status badge tracks draft → submitted → verified.

Prefill from Microsoft — if you sign in with Microsoft, one click fills empty fields (company name, address, contact) from your account.
10DLC registration
US carriers require local ("10DLC") numbers to be registered before business texts are delivered. The workspace drives registration straight from your verified Business Profile and shows a Registered badge once approved — intSignal files and maintains the brand and campaign registration behind A2P 10DLC business texting.
- Registration uses the details in your Business Profile — no separate form
- Carrier review carries standard registration fees and can take some time to propagate
- Until a number is registered, texts from it may not be delivered
Warning
Only text people who have opted in to hear from you, and honor opt-outs (such as STOP). Your opt-in description and sample messages in the Business Profile are part of staying compliant with carrier and messaging rules.
