What is a dedicated server?

A dedicated (bare-metal) server is an entire physical machine reserved for you alone — no virtualization overhead and no noisy neighbors. You get all of the CPU, RAM, and NVMe, full hardware control, and predictable performance, backed by an SLA.

How fast can a server be delivered?

Most Performance and High-Frequency servers are provisioned quickly — often within a couple of hours. Scale and Flagship builds that are configured to spec take a little longer to rack and validate.

Can I scale the memory and storage?

Yes. The figures shown are the base configuration. Performance servers scale to 256 GB (P5 up to 1 TB) of RAM and dual 15.36 TB NVMe; storage servers scale to 8 × 24 TB SAS. Scale and Flagship go far higher — up to 2 TB of memory.

Do you manage the server?

You can run it yourself with full root/administrator access, or add intSignal managed operations — OS patching, monitoring, backups, security hardening, and 24/7 support — so your team gets the hardware without carrying the ops.

What networking is included?

Performance and Storage servers include up to 25 Gbps private (vRack) networking to connect servers securely, plus public bandwidth up to 5 Gbps. Anti-DDoS protection is always on at the network edge.
