Maintenance plans & windows

Automate recurring preventive maintenance, and suppress alerts during planned work with maintenance windows.

ICP handles both sides of maintenance: preventive plans that generate work automatically, and windows that quiet alerts while you do planned work — the preventive maintenance scheduling built into the platform.

Preventive maintenance plans

A plan is a recurring schedule that auto-generates work orders so routine service never gets forgotten.

FieldNotes
Name / descriptionWhat the plan covers
TargetA site and/or an asset
FrequencyEvery N days (1–3650)
EnabledWhether the plan is active
Next dueWhen the next order will generate

The plan shows its last run and the last work order it created, and a run due maintenance action generates any due orders on demand.

Maintenance windows (alert suppression)

A maintenance window suppresses alerting during planned work, so you don't create noise tickets while you're on a device on purpose.

FieldNotes
ReasonWhy the window exists
TargetA site and/or an asset
Start / endThe suppression window

The list shows whether a window is currently active.

Tip

Open a maintenance window before planned work that will trip thresholds, then close it (or let it expire) when you're done — alerting resumes automatically.
