Customers, contacts & sites

Keep the accounts you serve, their contacts, and their sites organized — the CRM layer that ties tickets, work, and invoices together.

The Customers section is the account layer that everything else hangs off — sites, tickets, work orders, and invoices all trace back to a customer, which is why customer, contact, and site management lives in the same system as monitoring and dispatch.

Customers

Each customer account has:

  • Name, code, and status — Prospect, Active, or Inactive
  • Contact details — email, phone, website, address, city, region
  • Notes
  • Roll-ups of site count, contact count, and open tickets

Contacts

Each customer can have multiple contacts:

  • First / last name, title, email, phone
  • A primary flag
  • Whether portal access is enabled (see the customer portal)

Sites

Sites are the physical locations you serve. Assign a site to a customer (and unlink it if it moves). Sites carry the coordinates used for geofenced check-in and connect your edge gateways and assets to a place on the map.

Tip

A site's coordinates power geofenced check-in and travel-distance scoring for smart assignment — worth setting accurately.
