The customer portal lets your customers check on their own work without calling in — a read-only view they reach through a link you control. It's the self-service portal for tickets and invoices your customers get instead of your dispatch line.
Giving a customer access
A customer contact opens the portal with an access link you issue. You stay in control of it:
- Issue a link for a contact
- Rotate it (which invalidates the old link)
- Revoke it at any time
What the customer sees
The portal is scoped to that customer only — a contact sees their own account and nothing else:
- Their profile — contact and company name
- Their tickets — number, title, site, priority, status, and opened date
- Their invoices — only invoices that have been sent or paid (never drafts or voided), with issued and due dates and the total
Note
Because the portal is read-only and link-based, customers can check status and invoices themselves, but they can't change anything — you keep full control of the record in the console.
