Network data lives in the intSignal customer portal, so access to it is controlled by the same account layer as everything else there: your organization, the roles and permission groups people hold, and their scope. Together they give you role-based access to network management, so people only reach what their job needs.

Your organization
Your organization is set up by intSignal as a company, which can contain sub-companies and locations. Each person belongs to one organization and signs in to it directly.
- People with company-wide access see everything beneath the company, including its sub-companies and locations.
- People can be limited to specific locations, which restricts the tickets they see. See Assign locations.
If you need your structure changed, such as a new location or sub-company, contact intSignal.
Signing in
People sign in one of two ways:
- Sign in with Microsoft, using your organization's Microsoft 365 accounts, after intSignal links your organization to your Microsoft tenant.
- An email account with a password and an authenticator app, for people without Microsoft 365, created by intSignal.

Who can see network data
Seeing the Network page requires the Network permission (read to view, export to download).
Only Administrators have network access by default
None of the built-in roles except Administrator includes the Network permission. To give network engineers access without making them Administrators, create a custom permission group that includes Network, plus whatever else they need, such as Monitoring or Assets.
Create a permission group for your network team
Under Admin → Permission Groups, select New permission group, name it something like Network team, and turn on Network → read. Add Network → export if they need to download data. See Create a custom permission group.
Assign it
Under Admin → Users, give the group to each engineer, when you invite them or later with Edit roles. See Users & invitations.
Limit machines if needed
To limit someone to specific machines for Monitoring and Remote Access, use Machine access.
The Network page also only appears if Network is enabled for your organization. If nobody, including Administrators, can see it, ask intSignal to enable it.
Least privilege and reviews
Give each person the narrowest access that lets them do their job, and review it regularly. Keep the Administrator role to as few people as possible. See Reviewing access, and use the Audit Log to see every access change.
